Caroline Sullivan, 82, of South Yarmouth passed peacefully at her home in DeLand, FL on February 6th after a long illness with Alzheimers.

She was born in Boston to the late John and Thelma McPeck. Caroline is survived by her husband George and four children, Leslie Sullivan, DeLand FL, Cindy Sullivan, DeLand FL, George Sullivan III and his wife Pam, Canton, Kimberly Winters and her husband David, DeLand FL. She is also survived by her sister Susanne Gavin, Harwich, and her brother John McPeck and his wife Jeanne of London, Ontario. Grandchildren Trip Winters and his wife Jamie, Caroline Shaw and her husband Stephen, and Katie Murphy. Great granddaughter Madison Winters.

Caroline graduated from Bridgewater Teachers College and taught physical education at Dedham HS prior to her marriage. She then devoted herself to raising her family as the best mother anyone could have.

She enjoyed gardening, tennis and golf. She was also involved with many charities.

The family would like to thank Rose Vanlieu, Peggy Anderson and Katie Jernberg of Hope Hospice for their compassionate care. A special thanks to Carolyn Butler, a close family friend, for her loving support.

A family celebration of Caroline's life will be held this summer.
