Carole P. McGroarty, age 85, of Altamonte Springs, Florida, passed away on October 8, 2020. Carole was born on October 19, 1934 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the daughter of James and Edna Mae (Dettling) Pitcairn, Sr.

Her husband of 58 years, Patrick John McGroarty preceded her in death in 2014. She is survived by her brother John H Pitcairn; Her daughters Elizabeth Jones, Karen Smith and her husband Brian Smith, and Megan Watts; Her son Patrick S McGroarty and his wife Heather McGroarty. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Alyssa Jones, Brendan Jones, Christian Jones, Kyle Watts, Mady McGroarty, and Abby McGroarty; As well as her great grandchildren Patrick and Maisyn Watts.

Services are scheduled for 1pm on October 24th at St Mary Magdalen.
