Carol Jean Sapiego, age 81, of Sanford, Florida, passed away on March 15, 2022. Carol was born on October 29, 1940 in Kingston, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Blanche and Theodore Emanski.

She was the loving and devoted wife of 61 years to her husband John Sapiego, the loving mother of daughters Tracy (Shane) Brey, Kim Sapiego and Lisa (John) Svanda and grandchildren: Kasey Owens, John Verhaeghe, Hailey Brey and Joshua Brey; and her brother Richard (Jo Ann) Emanski.

Carol was a member of All Souls Catholic Church in Sanford, FL. Prior to moving to Florida, she served as a Eucharistic Minister and a Faith Formation Teacher at St. Patrick's Church in Kennett Square, PA.

Carol fought the battle of Alzheimer's for 10 years. Her family has created a Tribute page in her memory.
