Carol Ann Brumley Foster passed away peacefully at her home in Sanford, Florida, on January 21, 2024. She was born in Sanford on December 12, 1953, to William S. Brumley Jr. and Catherine L. Odham. Carol spent her entire life in Sanford, working for the City of Lake Mary for over 40 years, where she retired as the City Clerk. She is preceded in death by her husband, William P. Foster; father, William S. Brumley Jr.; and mother, Catherine L. Odham. In their retirement years, Carol and Bill enjoyed every minute. Together, they cooked and dined out at their favorite local restaurants. They were both known for sharing amazing pictures of their meals on Facebook. Daily conversations with friends and family were a constant in Carol's retirement. Lunches with friends and past colleagues were always a highlight, and she kept in touch with everyone she knew. Also, she enjoyed her grandchildren's many visits and video calls. She will be deeply missed by all. She is survived by her son Jeff Spotts (Layne), daughter Kelly Foster Harley, stepdaughter Elizabeth Foster, stepson Randy Foster, and grandchildren Emma, Cody, Nicholas, and Olivia. A celebration of life will be held on March 2, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Lake Mary Senior Center located at 911 Wallace Ct. in Lake Mary, Florida.
