Carol passed away peacefully at Northside Hospital on September 28, 2022.
Carol is survived by her 3 children: Charlotte Knopf (Bob). Steven Blake, and Linda Blake
Holloway (John). She is also survived by her grandchildren: Amanda Noah, Lindsey Votrain,
Matthew Votrain, Natalie Holloway, and her great-grandchildren Born in Evanston, Illinois, she
moved to St. Petersburg where she married Vaughn Blake Jr. and lived in Miami FL before
coming back to St. Pete. Carol was a good mother who worked hard and always put her
children first. For the past 10 years, Carol was a resident of Nurses Helping Hands ALF. The
family would like to thank the staff at NHH for their kindness, patience and attention to create a
home for our mother. We also want to thank Sue McClelland for being such a good friend to
her and whom our mother thought of as another daughter.
