It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of
Carmen (Liry) Lugo who passed away on April 16th, 2024. She was
born in El Barrio Maricao de Vega Alta, Puerto Rico, daughter of Gil
Manuel Pantoja-Genaro and Anastacia Pantoja-Adorno. She was
born on December 18th, 1950 and lived a beautiful seventy-three
years on this earth. Carmen was the first daughter of seven
children. She was married to Carlos Lugo for thirty-nine years
until his passing in 2007. He was the one and only love of her life.
Carmen was a supervisor at Agora for over twenty-five years.
Carmen loved her job and all of her coworkers became family.
There wasn't one person that she wouldn't help, with open arms.
She leaves behind three loving sons (Carlos Alberto Lugo, Eric
Von Lugo, and Urik Von Lugo) a daughter (Cynthia Anne Lugo),
her three sisters (Elba Salas-Pantoja, Emiliana Pantoja, and
Jenny Pantoja) a brother (Luis Pantoja), nine grandchildren,
(Trinity, Hailey, Ayana, Anaya, Aubrey, Ethan, Tyler, Dylan, and
Violetrain) and one great grandson, (Riley) and many more family
members.. all with broken hearts.
A great mother, daughter, sister, Grandmother, Great Grandmother,
Aunt, friend, Carmen had such a big and loving heart. She was an
active Catholic all of her life, who loved God and worshipped him
daily.
Carmen was one of four inseparable sisters. They shared everything
their entire lives. They spent their lives bringing all of their children
and grandchildren together. They called themselves "Mamis Girls"
and "Tatins Angels".
Dear Liry, of all the many blessings, however great or small, to have
had you as a sister, was the greatest one of all. The family chain is
broken now, and nothing seems the same. But as God takes us one
by one, the chain will link again. – With all of our love... Evy, Millie,

Con gran tristeza anunciamos el inesperado fallecimiento de
Carmen (Liry) Lugo quien falleció el 16 de abril de 2024. Nació en
El Barrio Maricao de Vega Alta, Puerto Rico, hija de Gil Manuel
Pantoja-Genaro y Anastacia Pantoja-Adorno. Nació el 18 de
diciembre de 1950 y vivió setenta y tres hermosos años en esta
tierra. Carmen fue la primera hija de siete hijos. Estuvo casada
con Carlos Lugo durante treinta y nueve años hasta su
fallecimiento en 2007. Él fue el único amor de su vida. Carmen
fue supervisora en Agora durante más de veinticinco años.
Carmen amaba su trabajo y todos sus compañeros de trabajo se
convirtieron en familia. No había una sola persona a la que ella no
ayudaría con los brazos abiertos. Deja atrás a tres amorosos hijos
(Carlos Alberto Lugo, Eric Von Lugo y Urik Von Lugo), una hija
(Cynthia Anne Lugo), sus tres hermanas (Elba Salas-Pantoja,
Emiliana Pantoja y Jenny Pantoja) y un hermano (Luis Pantoja). ,
nueve nietos (Trinity, Hailey, Ayana, Anaya, Aubrey, Ethan, Tyler,
Dylan y Violetrain) y un bisnieto (Riley) y muchos más miembros
de la familia... todos con el corazón roto. Una gran madre, hija,
hermana, abuela, bisabuela, tía, amiga, Carmen tenía un corazón
tan grande y amoroso. Ella fue una católica activa toda su vida,
que amaba a Dios y lo adoraba diariamente. Carmen era una de
cuatro hermanas inseparables. Compartieron todo durante toda
su vida. Pasaron sus vidas reuniendo a todos sus hijos y nietos.
Se hacían llamar "Las Niñas de Mami" y "Los Ángeles de Tatin".
Querida Liry, de todas las bendiciones, por grandes o pequeñas
que sean, haberte tenido como hermana, fue la más grande de
todas. La cadena familiar ahora está rota y nada parece ser igual.
Pero a medida que Dios nos tome una por una, la cadena se
volverá a juntar. – Con todo nuestro amor... Evy, Millie y Jenny.
