Carmen Perez Cardona's Obituary
Carmen Perez Cardona died peacefully in her home on March 4th 2024 in Altamonte Springs, Florida at the age of 82.
She is survived by her sons: René Jr., Leonardo, Andres and Ruben Perez. All live locally here in Central Florida. She has eight grandchildren: Andres Lee, Chanel, René Michael, Brandon, Ruben Enrique, Leonardo Antonio, Tania, and Freddy. Carmen was also a great-grandmother to nine: Stefani, Shia, Darian, Aria, René Micah, Mila Alexandra, Ruben Mauricio, Ian Andres, and Kannon.
Carmen was born on September 23, 1941 in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico to Teodoro and Amelia Cardona. Moving to New York as a child, she married, started a family, then moved to Altamonte Spring in 1967. There she raised her family and had a thirty year career at AdventHealth hospital, where she eventually retired.
A funeral is scheduled for 5pm, March 9, 2024 at DeGusipe Funeral Home with a reception to follow. Family and close friends are welcome to attend and celebrate her life.
In lieu of flowers the family would like you to donate to a charity of your choice.
