Carlos Cruz-Echevarria, 60, of Deltona, Florida passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017. He was born on February 18, 1957 in Santurce, Puerto Rico to Justino Cruz-Normandia and Elba Echevarria Rosario. Carlos was a loving husband, son in law, brother, uncle and friend to all who knew him.
He is preceded by his wife Letty of 34 years, brother Miguel Hernandez, sister Olga Cruz, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, mother-in-law, and friends.
Carlos was a well-respected member of his community. Carlos was always first in line to help others. He loved animals, his dog Reddick misses him so much.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday November 22, 2017 at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church: 1310 Maximilian Street, Deltona, Florida 32725, Phone: 386-574-2131.
A reception will be held after the service across from the church.
