In the 1960s he ventured to the United States to attend Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida, from which he graduated in the early 1970s. He worked as an engineering entrepreneur in Jamaica and abroad, ultimately returning to his homeland in the early 1990s. Carl was an ardent free form diver and spear fisherman whom had an affinity to live life to the fullest, even to the edge of the social norms from which he came.
Family was indeed his focus, as he continuously enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren whenever the opportunities arose. He found joy in studying and spreading the word of God, and extending a helping hand to anyone and everyone in need. His heart matched his penchant for life. If something needed be done, he persisted until the task was complete.
We release him into the hands of his heavenly Father knowing that he is at peace and find comfort in knowing that we shall continue our journeys together one day. Throughout his 65 years of life he has truly blessed many who not only acknowledge his contribution to their lives, but also mirror his testament of goodwill.
