Mr. Calvin Green Jones, age 83, of Bonifay, Florida passed away October 5, 2016 at Central Florida Regional Hospital in Sanford, Florida. He was born October 20, 1932 in Perry, Florida. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his father, U.D. Jones; his mother, Nancy Ann Poppell; first wife and mother of his children, Nellie Rachel Elliott Jones; one daughter, Carmen Melinda Jones.

Mr. Jones is survived by his second wife, Janie E. Canada; three daughters, Diane Kroll, Loretta Hartley, Darlene King; 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; five step-children, Dale Canada, Brett Canada, Bart Canada, Sandy Holder, Shawn Canada; 3 step-grandchildren and 2 step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Louise Schaub; two step-brothers, Gene Jones and Charles Jones; five step-sisters, Paula Jones, Linda Allen, Joe Anne Jones, Claudia Ann Beddingfield and Cloyed Ann McCall; numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, October 15, 2016 in the Bonifay Cemetery with military honors. Peel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Peel Funeral Home.
