C. Thomas Selby died peacefully at his home in Lake Mary, Florida on May 21, 2024 at the age of 76.

Tom is survived by his wife of 33 years, Katherine Christy, his son Stephen Selby, daughter, Susan Caldwell and grandchildren Katy Ann, Austin and Chesney Caldwell. Tom was preceded in death by his father Charles Selby and mother Hazel Selby of Dandridge, Tennessee.

He was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on December 13, 1947. He attended the University of Tennessee and Carson Newman College, graduating in 1970 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. Tom served in the U.S. Army at Fort Jackson and was honorably discharged in 1976.

Tom was involved in commercial real estate development for over 40 years, developing shopping centers and apartment communities. Tom served on the Board of Directors for Boys Town USA and was also involved in House of Hope Orlando. He was an avid golfer and used his passion for golf to organize fundraiser tournaments benefiting Orlando Children's Charities for several years featuring renowned professional golfers.

A memorial service is scheduled for May 29, 2024 at 11:00 AM and will be held at Markham Woods Presbyterian Church with a Celebration of Life Reception at Heathrow Country Club following the service at 12:00.
