Brenda Elayne Herron passed away in Longwood, Florida, on March 13,
2017, after her hard fought battle with lung cancer, surrounded by her
daughters. Brenda was born on July 1, 1952 to Thelma Mae and Melvin
Whitfield Sydnor in Warsaw, Virginia. She is survived by her three
daughters Pamela Elayne Minett, Denise Leigh Adkins and her husband
Joseph Adkins, and Lisa Ashley Baquero and her husband Reinaldo Savino
Baquero, and the two most important little humans in her life, her
grandchildren, Landon Savino Baquero and Mason Lee Baquero. Brenda is
also survived by eight brothers and sisters, and countless nieces and
nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Richard D. Herron, mother,
father, and a brother.

Brenda lived in the beautiful Commonwealth of Virginia for most of her
life until her husband's work transfer brought her to Florida in 1995.
Brenda lived for her family, when her kids were young she spent her
weeks volunteering at school as a crossing guard, the school nurse,
teachers assistant, and even as a chaperone on field trips. She packed
lunches with homemade bread (baked daily at home), fresh cookies, and
always drew a picture on the brown paper bags. Her weekends were spent
driving to and from soccer tournaments, basketball games, and
supporting her daughters.

As her daughters aged, and had their own children, she continued to
support her daughters. She took care of her grandchildren so they did
not have to go to daycare for the first year of their lives. She
worked in her daughter's business as the Chief Financial Officer. She
also consistently sent care packages to each one of her children, even
as adults, which could include a new towel or outfit, just to make
sure they always knew she was thinking of them.

As much time as Brenda spent on her children and grandchildren she
also enjoyed the arts and learning about different cultures, going to
the movies and theatre with her friends, working out at the gym, and
traveling with friends and family.

Brenda was a beautiful and selfless individual and these few sentences
cannot begin to capture or describe the beauty and essence of her
spirit, she will be greatly missed.
