William T. Warnock, III ("Bill") died peacefully on Thursday, October 6, 2022, in Orlando, Florida at the age of 37. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Merry Warnock, and siblings, Diana Tompkins (Michael) and Catherine Anderson-Smith (Matthew). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Elijah, Noah, Wesley, Leilani, Bentley, Micayla, Cyrus, and Esme. Bill was preceded in death by his father, William T. Warnock, Jr.
Bill found his second family at Cool Stuff, Inc. Games and in playing Magic The Gathering tournaments. He enjoyed science fiction, fantasy, and mystery and was an avid reader of these genres, especially Star Trek, Star Wars, Marvel, and Sherlock Holmes.
A gentle giant, Bill was always eager to lend a helping hand. At 6'7", it wasn't just because he could reach the top cupboards or see the top of the refrigerator, but because he was a good man with a kind heart who loved and looked out for his friends and family.
A celebration of Bill's life will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2022, at 3 p.m. at DeGusipe Funeral Home in Maitland, Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Make-A-Wish or Operation Gratitude.
