Bill Calhoun, 87, of Ocoee Florida, left this earth on August 29, 2021, on his final journey to live forever with his Lord and Savior, and in our hearts.
Bill was born in Gadsden, AL on March 17, 1934. He was the youngest of five children born to Lester and Ruth Calhoun. He graduated from Etowah High School in 1952 and shortly after enlisted in the Navy. After serving his country, Bill moved to Florida where he met his wife of 58 years, Hazel, and they were blessed with two children, Teresa and Michael.
Bill was an electrician by trade and worked for Sardee Industries. When he was not working, he enjoyed playing the guitar. Bill was blessed with a natural ability to play the guitar and sing and used his talent to serve God and bless many others.
Bill loved his family and lived life to the fullest. He loved spending time with his 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren who called him PaPa. Bill and Hazel enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Many memories were made and many stories will be told for years to come of the times where Bill was always ready with a joke, a smile, and a song.
