Obituary

Betty Caroline Lewis passed away peacefully on July 14, 2022. Betty was born December 8, 1938 to Authur Gee and Julia Stanland Gee in Lake Wales, Florida.

As a child, Betty lived in Waverly, Sebring, and Eagle Lake, Florida before her family settled in Plant City, Florida. She graduated From Plant City High School in 1956.

Betty had successful career as a legal secretary in St. Petersburg, retiring in 2006. She loved spending time with family and she had a passion for reading and writing poetry. Betty was a member of Park Street Baptist Church in St. Petersburg and always enjoyed attending Sunday services. After being diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 2019, she was not able to attend church as often as she liked, but never lost her faith and love for the Lord. Betty has finished the race, though not without challenges along the way. Today, she is safe in the arms of Jesus, and all is well with her soul.

Betty's message to family and friends:
"Please know that I love the Lord with all my heart and soul, and when you read these words you will know that I am already rejoicing in Heaven. Please rejoice with me, for I am at peace. I pray that all who read these words will know they can have eternal life through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ."

2 Timothy 4:7
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course. I have kept the faith.
