Betty Doris Layne Nelson, 84, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2019 in Altamonte Springs Florida from complications of dementia.

Betty was a wonderful person. She loved to sing and dance. But mostly, Betty loved to laugh and was very social. She enjoyed her life and adored her family. Betty liked to bake, play bingo, indulge in a chocolate or two and play an occasional scratch-off ticket. She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.

Betty is survived by: her two daughters Karen Nelson and Debbie Nelson, and Debbie's husband Trent Chase.
Her two granddaughters: Sarah Warren, and Rachel McGrain and her husband Nick McGrain.
Her great-granddaughter Emma Ledford (Sarah's daughter).
Her three sisters: Rita Redman and her husband Francis Redman, Daisy Oliver, and Maritza Rodriguez and her husband Angel Rodriguez.
Many cousins, nieces, nephews and her loving friend William Figueroa, (the son she never had).

Per Betty's request, there will not be any services.
