Betty Lou Bregitzer, daughter of Emory Savage and Alice Brown was born 12 October 1940 in Portsmouth, Ohio. She went to be with her Lord in heaven while she was at her home in Saint Petersburg, Florida on June 18, 2021. She was 80 years young.

Betty joins her husband of 50 years, James Bregitzer, in heaven and is survived by her children, Robert, (wife Lisa, and grandsons Carson and Bennett), Colleen, (husband Albert, and grandsons Ryder and Hunter), and Michael.

Her positive attitude was contagious and she had a way of touching the lives of those around her. She was a very loving and devoted mother and grandmother who always put the needs of others before her own. Betty was passionate about bingo, gardening and spending time with family.

Betty worked for many years as a mortgage underwriter in Georgia and Florida. She was loved and will be missed by her work associates.

Her service will be held at 11:00am at the Catholic Church of Saint Monica in Duluth, GA, and her inurnment will be at 2:30pm Georgia National Cemetery, in Canton, GA on 27 July 2021.
