Bernice L. Hartman 92 of St. Petersburg, Florida passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2021. Born in Valley Stream, New York to the late Raymond Smith and Mae Schoen Smith. She was a customer service representative for both Sear's and Montgomery Ward. Bernice is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Manford L. "Red" Hartman Sr., and her son, Manford L. Hartman Jr. She is survived by her two twin daughters, Karen Phifer and her husband, Gail; Marian Bonanno; daughter-in-law: Jean Hartman; sister Marjorie Collins; seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, March 22, 2021 from 10 am until time of Celebration of Life at 11 am. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Florida National Cemetery Monday, March 22 at 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
