Bernard Russell Corey, age 54 , passed away peacefully surrounded by his family in Orlando, FL on December 20, 2021. He was born in the Florida Keys, the eldest son of Aurelia and Edward B. Corey II. Raised in Plantation Key, FL, Hampton Bays, NY and Cocoa Beach, FL. A graduate of Cocoa Beach HS Class of 1986 .

An avid Florida Gator fan, and was a 1995 graduate of the Univ. of Florida with a degree in Criminal Justice. Moving to Orlando, he nurtured his entrepreneurial spirit and became owner/partner in several downtown business ventures. Russell had an early and lifelong passion for sports cars and loved owning and driving them.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward B. Corey, his only brother, Michael Corey. Grandparents Anne Knabe and Allan Brush,of Cocoa Beach, FL and Margaret Caffrey Corey and Russell B. Corey of Great Neck, LI, NY.

He is survived by: his parents Aurelia and Henry Lemerise of Leesburg, FL, sister Suzanne McGraw and husband John McGraw of Maitland, FL, sister Angela Corey and her partner Michael Walters of Vero Beach, FL. Niece, Caitlin McGraw and nephews Logan McGraw, and Dylan Corey. Many aunts,uncles, cousins and friends, and former spouse, Samrina Corey.

Russell's kindness and generosity will be fondly remembered, along with his sardonic wit! A celebration of his life will take place on a future date in Orlando.
