Berenice J. Yurcisin passed away on April 19th, 2024 in Winter Park, Florida after a blessed life at the age of 101.

Berenice is survived by her daughter and two sons, nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband George, her parents, and ten brothers and sisters.

Berenice was born in Spangler, PA to John and Aniela Kowardy. After marrying her husband, George Yurcisin, they lived in Michigan and New Jersey before settling in Florida in 1959.

A memorial service is scheduled for 9:00am on Monday, April 29th at DeGusipe Funeral Home in Maitland, FL. The burial will follow at 10:30am at Palm Cemetery in Winter Park, FL. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church In Orlando, FL.
