Benjamin Scott Coady, born October 30, 2000, passed March 17, 2020 at the age of 19 from a courageous battle with cancer.

Ben was a beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, friend, neighbor and teammate, a gentle and loving soul.

Ben was a graduate of Lake Brantley High School Class of 2019. He enjoyed his time with the Superior rated Lake Brantley Band among the percussion section. He proudly and passionately played snare drum with the drumline of the Marching Patriots. He made the best of friends and enjoyed the best of times.

Ben enjoyed his youth with his parents and siblings and peers on the fields of West Seminole Baseball where he played 3rd base. The most special memories were made on the baseball diamond with his teammates and was the most special time with Dad as his coach and his baseball family.

Ben was a member of The Venue Church where he nurtured his faith and was baptized. He continued to walk by faith and with God through all the challenges he faced.

Ben is predeceased by his father Frederick J. Coady who passed in 2012. Survived by his Mother Christina, Siblings Nate and Grace, Grandparents Harry and Ruth Coady, Grandmother Kathleen Grink, several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Ben is loved and will be deeply missed by his family, friends near and far and a most special community.

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, Ben will be laid to rest privately. A celebration of life will be planned when restrictions are lifted.
