Barbara Skinner Moyer age 82 of Winter Park, FL, formerly of Harrisburg, PA beloved wife of 63 years to Thomas "Turtle" Moyer, passed away September 9, 2019 surrounded by her family after a brief battle with cancer.

Barbara was on born September 8, 1937, to the late Sara King and Wilson Skinner. In addition to her husband Thomas, Barbara is survived by her sons Thomas A. (Amy) Moyer of St. Petersburg, FL, Scott (Patty) Moyer of Myrtle Beach SC and son Michael (Karen Mendes) Moyer of Brooklyn, NY; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Barbara was predeceased by her brother Fred Skinner and her son Timothy Moyer.

Barbara was an active member of the Winter Park Does Drove #86 affiliated with the Winter Park Elks Lodge #1830 and served as past president. She was known as "Mom T" when her husband was a coach and manager of the Harrisburg Her-icaines softball team from Harrisburg, PA.

A Memorial Service will be held October 5, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the Winter Park Elks Lodge #1830, 4755 Howell Branch Rd, Winter Park, FL 32792. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.
