Barbara Hoy, 96, of St. Petersburg, FL sadly left us on Sunday, August 11, 2024.
Mrs. Hoy was born July 7, 1928, in Marianna, Florida and was a lifelong homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Hoy, mother, Grace Preiss, father, Archie McNeil, daughter, Diane Hopkins and sons, Lawrence Hopkins and Donald Hoy. Mrs. Hoy is survived by her children, Vicki Fredere, Debbie Merritt, Richard Hoy and John Hoy; grandchildren, Andrew, Billy, Larry, Jim, Tim, Jenny, Josh, Jake, DJ, Brandy, Merissa; great grandchildren, Alexus, Brittany, Nathan, Alexis, Jessica, Destiny, Elijah, Viviana, Samantha, Ethan, Rylee, Adalynn, Kaiya, Savannah and Elias; great-great grandchildren, Rose, Gabe, Wyatt, Lily and Hunter.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 16th at Royal Palm South Cemetery, 101 55th Street South, St. Petersburg, FL 33707.
