Barbara “Bobbie Jo” Leep Ashcraft, 57, of Casselberry, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on August 1, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Born on February 8, 1969, in Sanford, Florida, Bobbie was the daughter of Harold and Betty Leep. She spent her life devoted to her family and those she loved most. A homemaker at heart, Bobbie found her greatest joy in caring for her grandchildren. She was a constant source of love, comfort, and support, creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and cherished memories.
In 2025, Bobbie married her high school sweetheart, Brian Ashcraft, a love story that came full circle and brought her great happiness. Together they shared a deep bond and many treasured moments.
Bobbie is survived by her loving husband, Brian Ashcraft of Casselberry; her son, Eddie McDonald, and daughter-in-law, Kimberly McDonald, of Mount Dora; her daughter, Jessica McDonald, of Casselberry; her niece Miranda Leep of Sanford; and her beloved grandchildren, Michael, Madalynn, MaKenzie, Noah, Jase, Liam, and Landen, who were the light of her life. She is also survived by her siblings, Sandra Brooks, Rodger Leep, and Ronald Leep.
She was preceded in death by her father Harold Leep; her mother Betty Jo Leep; brother, James “Jimmy” Leep; and her sister, Patricia Thompson.
Bobbie will be remembered for her strength, resilience, kindness, and unwavering love for her family. Though cancer took her far too soon, it never diminished her spirit. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the family she loved so deeply.
The family would like to thank everyone for their love, prayers, and support during this difficult time.
