Audrey D. Broucek, 87 of Sanford, Florida passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 1, 2015. Ms. Broucek was born October 17, 1927 in Ann Arbor, Michigan to LeRoy and Ruth Scheetz.

Audrey held a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. She was a Kindergarten teacher at Sunland Park Elementary School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida before traveling overseas to teach at the United States Airforce base in Bitburg, Germany. Audrey was a highly respected and sought after teacher. She retired in 1992 and returned home to the states.

She is pre deceased by her sister Ardath Friedman and daughter Sharon Huang. She is survived by her son & daughter-in-law Gerry & Carmen Broucek, daughter Suzanne Broucek, daughter & son-in-law Deborah & Scott Jaze, daughter & son-in-law Veronica Trent & Michael Katsiroubas, grandchildren Pamela Leggett, James & Audrey Broucek, Jessica Bernstein Podnos, Alexis Frankel, Alison & Danny & Brady Huang, and Olivia & Carly Jaze.
