Armida Arias passed away in the early morning hours of January 24th, 2021 in Orlando, Florida. She was 81 years old.

She was born on November 1st, 1939 in Quito, Ecuador to Lucila and Noe Barros. She was one of eight children.

Armida married the love of her life, Alberto Oswaldo Arias, in 1959. The couple settled in New Jersey in the late 1960's, where they watched their daughter, Cathy, and niece, Tania, grow up together.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and aunt to many nieces and nephews. Known as "Mami" to her grandchildren, Kristen, Ashley, Raz and Jossua, they will always remember the unconditional love she gave; and her delicious meals made--as Armida always made sure everyone who came into her home left with a full stomach. Her favorite past times were chatting away with friends and family, watching Caso Cerrado, and spending time with her 'grand-dogs'.

Armida was a kind and caring soul who made everyone feel like family and was everyone's number one supporter in whatever they did. She loved and was loved by so many people. We will miss her every day.
