Arlene Frances (Ennis) Campbell age 72, of Winter Park, FL passed away on July 5, 2020. Arlene was born on November 25, 1947 in Brooklyn, New York the daughter of the late Edmund F. and Helen V. (Dalia) Ennis and sister to the late Jeanne Anne Ennis.
A devoted wife to the love of her life, Daniel William Campbell, who passed away on April 9, 2018. Arlene and Dan were married April 4, 1970 and had one daughter. Arlene worked for New York Telephone before taking a 16 year "maternity leave" where she was the best stay-at-home mom a daughter could have, to then becoming a caseworker for Catholic Charities of Central Florida where she worked for over 20 years before retiring.
Arlene was a two-time breast cancer survivor. Her life revolved around her family. Her daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren were her world. She was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church for over 42 years. She was the biggest supporter of her daughter's activities growing up, continuing to the last day. She did not miss a concert, recital, ball game, competition, or regatta of her grandchildren, if she could help it.
Arlene is survived by her daughter Jeanne Anne (Jake) Jacobs, brothers-in-laws Edwin (Nancy) Campbell, and Brian Campbell. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren John, and Alexis Jacobs.
The family will be receiving friends Thursday, July 9, 2020 from 6:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM at DeGusipe Funeral Home. With the spikes in COVID-19, visitation will be limited to 10 (ten) people at one time wearing face masks and social distancing. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, July 10 at 10:30AM at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Winter Park. Interment will follow at All Faiths Memorial Park Cemetery.
