Russell, April Ryan
83, of St. Petersburg, passed away on November 26, surrounded by her family. She was born in Staten Island New York and moved to St. Petersburg when she was 11 years old. Her mother, Marie Ryan and her two brothers, Stanley and Tommy made St. Petersburg their home. April is preceded in death by her husband, James T. Russell (former Pinellas County State Attorney) after 54 years of marriage. April leaves behind a large and loving family; Michele Russell Katina with her husband Tom and daughter Katie, Karen Russell, Jim Russell Jr. with his wife Ellie and their four children Christine Petty, Jimmy III, Maryanne and Joshua Russell, Cheryl Russell with her 3 children Robert, Elizabeth, and Amanda Platz and two great grandchildren, Willow and Ian.
April loved bowling, Milka Bamond, (her best friend of 64 years) her African Grey Charley, and her family.
