I sadly regret to inform everyone that April Joy (Power) Harmon passed away on 29 October 2024. April was 61 at the time of her death and spent her few remaining days surrounded by friends, and family at the Advent Health hospice center, in Orlando Florida.

April was born in Springfield, Illinois on April 6th, 1963. She met Curt Harmon in Colorado Springs, CO and they married on July 10, 1987. They moved back to Orlando in 1989 and bought their "forever home" in February of 1991 where they both lived out their lives having raised their son together, Kyle Harmon.

April had such a gift of caring and the ability to bring joy to those who entered her life. She always wanted to make sure that those around her were doing ok. She loved making people laugh, going to Disney, going on adventures, especially cruises and playing games. Her favorite game was scrabble, where she seemed to have the upper hand most of the time against her brother Don. She was the highlight of every room and brought out the best in people, a rare and special human. As Winnie the Pooh would say, even if we are apart, I'll always be with you.

She is survived by her son Kyle Patrick Harmon, stepson Robert Curtis Harmon, granddaughters Emily & Madison Harmon, sister Linda Rush and brother Don Power. Her celebration of life will be at 121 Graham Rd., Fern Park, FL 32730 on Saturday December 14, 2024, between 1-3 pm.
