Antonia "Toni" M. Palermo, gained her wins today, June 21, 2026 after a long illness. She was born January 21, 1953 in Akron Ohio. She grew up in Firestone Park, went to St. Paul Catholic Church & School. In February 1968 the family moved to North Hill, where she spent 2 years at North High. The family then arrived in Orlando, Florida July 1, 1970, where she graduated from Winter Park High in June 1971.
She was the first female volunteer Fire Fighter for Seminole County, Fl, and to go to the fire fighter training school, (she was top 5 of the class). Her first job was at Lockheed Martin as a Security Guard, retiring after 20 years. She then went to Wiginton Fire Sprinkler Systems, as the first female systems inspector, she was sought out by all the other sprinkler companies in Florida. The last one was Teligan where she retired from. She has several degrees in fire science and sprinkler systems.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Antonio & Josephine, brothers, Samuel & Victor. She is survived by sisters, Marie (care giver), Michelle (brother-in-law Marty), nieces Crista (nephew-in-law Bobby), Alyssa, Erin (nephew-in-law John), Nephew Brian, great nieces, Piper, Mayla, Hayley, great nephew Hunter, Cousin Linda. She will be greatly missed by her many cousins in OH, CT & FL, and her friends.
Toni will be cremated per her wishes.
A Clebration of life will be held at a later date.
