Obituary

Anthony "Tony" LaRose III, 71, of Masontown, PA, passed away peacefully on November 28th, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.

Tony was born on May 30, 1954, in Uniontown, PA the son of the late Anthony LaRose II and Constance (Clark) LaRose.

Tony was a devoted father and a hardworking coal miner who spent his life providing for those he cared about. He was a man who found joy in life's simple pleasures—fishing on quiet mornings, cooking meals that brought everyone together, and sharing time with the people he loved most. He had a special place in his heart for his kids' dogs- Remi, Pixie & Arlo, who always knew they'd find gentleness and treats in his hands.

He is survived by his children: Andrea LaRose, Jason LaRose, Justin LaRose, Anthony LaRose IV, Jamye LaRose, Michael LaRose, and Matthew LaRose, each of whom he loved deeply and proudly.

Tony is also survived by his sisters: Susan LaRose Pluchel and her husband Joseph, Linda LaRose Adams, and Angela LaRose Hamman and her husband John, all of whom shared a lifelong bond with him. In addition, Tony is survived by many grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is also remembered by Teresa Shaffer, with whom he shared a lasting friendship.

Tony will be remembered for his steady presence, his kindness, and the warmth he brought to family gatherings. His legacy lives on in the memories he created the meals he cooked, the stories he shared, and the love he gave so generously.
