Annette Marie Shaw, née Barbanera, 69, of Bradenton, FL, departed this life on August 20, 2026 in Sarasota, FL surrounded by family and fortified by the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church.
Born in 1957 to the late Eugene and Gwendolyn Barbanera in Miami, FL, she graduated Monsignor Edward Pace High School. She built a career spanning over four decades in the accounting field, achieving a Director’s position at Baptist Health South Florida.
Annette had a passion for music, songwriting, singing, and guitar. Inspired by her love of Italy she traveled there many times and proudly earned recognition as an Italian citizen. She enriched the lives of those she leaves behind with her strength, radiant spirit, and tireless devotion to her family and friends.
Preceded in death by her brother Alfred Douglas Keele, Annette is survived by her children Roger, Daniel, and Kaitlyn; as well as siblings Jody Michalski and Eugene Barbanera.
A Catholic Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, 9/1/26 at 12:15pm at All Souls Historic Chapel, 800 South Oak Avenue, Sanford, FL, immediately followed by Committal at 2 pm at Queen of Angels Cemetery, 1901 Queen of Angels Drive, Winter Park, FL.
Flowers may sent to the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, to further her support of a cause she particularly cared for, donations may be made in her honor to christthekingsarasota.org “Capital Campaign.”
