Anna Lee Brashear Pendleton, age 90 of Sanford FL, passed away July 20, 2021.
Born on April 24, 1931 to Virgie and Marion Brashear of Viper, Kentucky. Married Robert Pendleton in 1948 and relocated to Michigan in the early fifties. Anna was a devoted wife and homemaker for 65 years.
She was the mother of Kim, Richard and Patrick; the grandmother of George, Kristine, Rhett, Summer and Anna; the great grandmother of Cody and Lincoln. She was a loving sister to her surviving siblings, Keith and Robert Brashear of Kentucky and Stella Isom of Michigan.
Preceding her in death are her husband Robert (d.2014), and siblings Aaron and Harold Brashear (KY), Thelma Riddle & Lucille Raby (TN).
Her hobbies included decoupaging, ceramics, needlework such as, knitting, crocheting, cross stitching and quilting. She enjoyed playing games, putting together jig saw puzzles and crossword books.
Anna was a member of Lone Pine Baptist Church of Ky, Fairview Baptist Church in Michigan, and Pine Crest Baptist Church in Sanford, FL. She enjoyed singing in the choir, teaching children particularly the 4-5-year-olds and participating during the summers at vacation bible school .
Celebration of Life service will be held, Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Westview Baptist Church, 4100 H. E. Thomas Jr. Parkway (46A) Sanford, Florida 32771.
