Ann Richmond, 77, was called home to join her husband, Patrick, on Tuesday, April 4, 2017. She passed away peacefully in her Winter Park home surrounded by her loving family. Ann is survived by two sons, Patrick and Mark, two granddaughters, Ashley and Brittany, and a great-grandson, Colton. Ann was born of Mr. and Mrs. James Reiz in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1940 and graduated from Dan McCarty High School in Fort Pierce. In 1960, Ann married her high school sweetheart, Patrick, with whom she traveled the world with during his career in the Air Force. They shared their early married years living in England, France, and Germany and traveling around Europe with their first son, Patrick. While stationed in the US, Pat and Ann had their second son, Mark, and lived in Texas, Kansas, Maine, and North Carolina. During Pat's time in Vietnam, Ann enjoyed visiting him in Thailand and traveling around Asia. Shortly after moving to Winter Park, Pat and Ann joined the choir at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church and enjoyed golfing and socializing with their many friends at Rio Pinar Country Club. After a 12 year battle with cancer, she will be best remembered for her optimism, infectious smile, generous heart, youthful spirit, and love of God, family, golden retrievers, and golf.
