Anh Quoc Dang

Anh Quốc (Andy) Đặng - a beloved husband, father, little brother, son, uncle, and friend - entered into eternal life, returning peacefully to the Lord. He lived his life with kindness, compassion, and unconditional love, leaving behind memories of joy that will never be forgotten.

Quốc was a man of vibrant passions who found God’s grace in the beauty of creation. He was a well-renowned chef that expressed his deep affection for family and friends through food, regularly cooking feasts that brought everyone together around the table.

When he wasn’t in the kitchen, Quốc could always be found in his earthly sanctuary. He had a passion for nurturing life, happily tending to his exotic plants, fruits, vegetables, and herbs, and caring for his quails, guppies, and koi. He also enjoyed fishing for squid and crabs.

Beyond his incredible talents, Quốc was a legendary jokester. His quick wit, warmth, and infectious humor brought light into every room he entered. He taught those around him to embrace life with a joyful heart, and in accordance with his spirit, his family wishes to celebrate his beautiful journey rather than mourn his departure. We do not grieve as those without hope, but look forward to the day we are reunited with him in God's heavenly kingdom, confident in the promise of the Resurrection.

A celebration of Quốc’s life will be held at DeGusipe Funeral Home & Crematory on August 19, 2026 from 2-5pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Martyrs of Vietnam Church (Giáo Xứ Các Thánh Tử Đạo Việt Nam) on August 19, 2026 at 6pm.

In honor of his memory, the family invites you to cook a feast for someone you love or plant something beautiful in your garden, keeping his generous spirit alive.

May the angels lead him into paradise, and may perpetual light shine upon him. Rest in Peace Anh Quốc Đặng. Gone but never forgotten.
