Obituary

Lombardi, Angelina (Angie) 90, of Longwood, FL gained her wings on Wednesday April 24, 2019. She was born in Tampa, Florida on September 20, 1928 to Joseph Raffeo and Annie Alba. She was one of eight children. In Tampa she met the love of her life Tony Lombardi and married him on June 30, 1946. Angie and Tony were the founders and owners of Lombardi's Seafood Inc., together they had four children.
Angie and Tony opened Lombardi Seafood, Inc. in 1962 with a small retail market in Winter Park, Florida. Due to Angie's ability to save money it allowed them to create the legacy that we all know as Lombardi's Seafood. She was the wonderful Italian (well Sicilian) wife he dreamed of and married.
She was very passionate about her family and friends. She was a long upstanding member of The Italian American Social Club, The Italian War Veterans, The Elks Club, The Knights of Columbus, Council 5150 and The Moose Lodge. They found their home at the Italian American Club where they became friends and family to many. Angie enjoyed playing bunco and cards with her friends, and especially loved going to lunch with her best friend. Angie loved to dance and anyone who knew her knows she would be the first person on the dance floor.
Angie is survived by her four children Anthony Lombardi Jr. (Terri Lombardi), Vincent Lombardi (Jennifer Lombardi), Susan Lombardi Biggs and Debra Lombardi Lemay (Randy Lemay), her 9 grandchildren Michael Lombardi (Toby), Denise Smith (Ryan), Maria Harris (Brandon), Kate Milton (Jason), John Biggs, Scott Sutton (Allison), Staci Sutton, Alec Lombardi and Cameron Lombardi and her 10 great grandchildren.
