After a protracted battle with breast cancer, Angela Santina Tauriello was lifted to eternal life, with her family by her side, on March 23, 2017 in Orlando, Florida at the age of 66.

Angela was born in Naples, Italy in 1950 to the late Gaetano Favale and Antonietta (Cataldi) Favale. She was raised in Tuscany until 1963 when she moved with her parents and two siblings to the United States, settling in Brooklyn, New York. Angela attended Lafayette High School and graduated from Adelphi Business School in Brooklyn. She immediately began working in Manhattan as a typist for various organizations, later becoming head bank teller for Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce where she was employed until 1975.

Angela married the love of her life, Joseph Anthony Tauriello, in July of 1974. This union was blessed with three children. In 1991, the family of five relocated to Orlando, Florida and eventually grew to include two sons-in-law, a daughter-in-law, and seven beautiful grandchildren.

Angela was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother; her most prized role! She enjoyed writing poetry, dancing, singing (especially "Happy Birthday" to her grandchildren), laughing, eating great food, and above all, spending time with her family. Those who knew her loved her sense of humor, quick wit, fun-loving personality, and zest for life. She was often referred to as "the coolest grandma, EVER!" While we are heartbroken that she is no longer of this earth, there is comfort in knowing that she is free of pain and at peace with our Lord and Savior.

Angela is survived by her husband, Joseph, three children (Toni Ann, Joseph, III, and Danielle), and their families: Matthew, Toni Ann, Anthony, Andrew, and Aidan Meyer of Orlando, FL; Joseph, Amy, and Kaylin Tauriello of Winter Park, FL; and Ben, Danielle, Bryanna, Natalia, and Weston Chapman of Oviedo, FL. She is also survived by her sister, Rose DeVito, brother-in-law, Victor DeVito, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Frank Favale.

At Angela's request, she has been cremated and there will not be a service. A private gathering will be held for immediate family to celebrate her life. Her ashes will be interred at Glen Haven Memorial Park at a later date.
Weep not for me though I am gone into that gentle night.
Grieve if you will, but not for long upon my soul's sweet flight.
I am at peace; my soul's at rest, there is no need for tears.
For with your love I was so blessed for all those many years.
There is no pain; I suffer not, the fear now all is gone.
Put now these things out of your thoughts, in your memory I live on.
Remember not my fight for breath, remember not the strife.
