Angela Petronella LeMaitre, was born May 31, 1943 and entered Heavens Gates April 7, 2018 after nine months of struggling with cancer. Angela was born and raised in Port of Spain Trinidad and was the daughter to Francis and Rosa LeMaitre.

Angela with a loving heart took on a motherly role at a young age. She looked after her two younger siblings before migrating from Trinidad and Tobago to New York in 1969 .

While working as a Computer Tape Librarian at Dean Witter in 1975 she met and fell in love with Luis Torruella. She shortly after gave birth to her daughter Nicole. Angela worked hard, bonded long lasting friendships and continued to consummate her role as a mother and grandmother when she retired in Florida.

Angela's greatest joy was her family near and far. She reached, touched and inspired many to strive to be the best and surpass their own limitations.

Angela is survived by her daughter Nicole A. Torruella Tillock, two granddaughters Taylor and Jordyn Tillock and siblings Ulrich and DeChantal LeMaitre.

We have all been blessed to have shared her life. Rest in Peace , the Lord has brought home another Angel....Angela!
