Andrew Gregory Sopkovich, 88, of Uniontown, PA, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2024, in Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, PA.

Andrew was born on February 23, 1936, in Bitner, PA, the son of Ambrose Sr. and Anna (McGalla) Sopkovich.

In addition, to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Janet J. (Duranko) Sopkovich, siblings, Marie, Susan, Ambrose Jr., Patricia, and infant sister, Martha.

Andrew is survived by his children, Cheri Sopkovich of Uniontown, PA, Cathy Sloan of Uniontown, PA, and Andrea Fuller and husband Dan of Uniontown, PA, grandchildren, Nicole Pluto of Uniontown, PA, David Pluto and fiance Kristen of Hopwood, PA, Jeanette Russell of Uniontown, Dan Fuller and wife Heather of Bethel Park, PA, great grandchildren, Cassandra and Shawn Johnson, Alexandria, Brennan, Joseph, Aria and Reese, Great Great Grandchildren, Maizie, brother, Francis Sopkovich of Bitner, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends and family will be received in the DeGusipe Funeral Home and Crematory, 65 N. Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, PA, Stacey A. Dolfi, FD, on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, from 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM. A service will be held in the funeral home at 5:30 PM on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. Interment is private.
