Andres B. Marin died peacefully in Apopka, FL on January 14th, surrounded by his loving family. He was 97. Born in the Philippines on November 30, 1922, Andres is survived by his wife of 70 years, Celing, and daughters Cora, Tessie, Cecile, and Len, all of Florida, and son Jun (Andres Jr.) of New Jersey. Another son, Salvador of Georgia, passed away last year. Andres is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren to whom he was affectionately known as "Pangdi."

Andres immigrated wiith wife Celing to the United States from Quezon City, Philippines in 1985 after retirement from San Miguel Brewery in Manila to join their children and grandchildren. His retirement years were filled with his favorite pastimes: Sunday crossword puzzles, watching baseball, traveling, and spending time with his family.

Andres will be deeply missed and forever remembered as the devoted husband and father, great provider, and "hands-on" grandfather that he was. The helping hand and generosity he always extended to nieces, nephews, siblings, and other family members will not be forgotten.

On Friday, January 20th, we his beloved family and friends will come together to honor his memory and celebrate his life.
