On November 29, 2020, Ana Angelica Navarro got her wings and went to walk with the angels. She was 82 years old. She passed away peacefully in Clermont, Florida, of Pulmonary Fibrosis, surrounded by her children and grandson.
Born on February 27, 1938 in Loiza, Puerto Rico, the daughter of Natividad Calcaño and Sixto Navarro. She is survived by her 5 children, Rafael Enrique, Diana, Soraya, Victor Manuel and Jose Fernando, 6 grandchildren, Arlene, Rafael Jamil, Jr, Jahari, Erika, Milena, and Jazz and 4 great grandchildren Jeremiah, Josiah, Kaylee and Enyden.
It would be wrong to say that Ana lost her battle to this unforgiving lung disease because she never stopped fighting. Her health was failing for years; few people knew the extent to which she struggled. Her joy for life and indomitable spirit kept her pushing through the pain. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, Ana stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. There was no quit in Ana. Just because she is no longer here, it doesn't mean she lost her fight.
We will miss you dearly mom, our matriarch, our mentor, our rock, our beloved mother! Till we meet again!
