Ries, Ambrose D. �Andy� 93 of St. Petersburg passed away April 25, 2014. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Jacqueline. He is the loving father of Cynthia Hankins, Sandra Mailey and her husband David, and step father to Dan Romine (deceased); brother of Vern (deceased), George, Joe, Paul, and Dennis Ries, Vange Benkofske (deceased), Eleanor Reagan, Junet Pepper, and Margaret Humphries; grandfather of John, Dave, Amber and Amanda; and great grandfather of 2. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, April 28 from 5-7 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, April 29 at the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle (Our Lady�s Chapel) at 1 pm. Entombment will follow in the Royal Palm Cemetery. In lieu of flowers family request donations be made to the Suncoast Hospice Foundation.
