Amanda Maria Sacca, 38, of Casselberry, FL went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 5, 2018, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in New Milford, CT and a graduate of New Milford High School. She graduated with an Associate's Degree from Johnson and Wales in Providence, RI. Amanda worked for Cardinal Health Nuclear Pharmacy in Winter Park, FL for over 15 years. The joy of her life was her daughter Olivia. There was nothing more important to her than her close-knit family and dearest friends who were like family to her. She had a fearless personality and adventurous spirit. She faced life head on and on her own terms. She was about enjoying the journey and never looking back. Amanda was a beautiful young woman with a contagious smile and joyful heart that inspired everyone she met. She was a dog lover and enjoyed traveling. She had a giving heart, often putting others before herself.

She is survived by her daughter Olivia Sacca of Casselberry, FL; her parents Joseph and Marsha Sacca of Winter Springs, FL; her sister, Jennifer (Gordon) Gillespie of Lexington, SC; her grandfather Richard Hodes of Hamden, CT; her aunt Joanna (Dayl) Larsen of Los Lunas, NM; her aunt Mary Lynn (Michael) Eckert of Iowa City, IA; her cousins Scott Parker of NH and Adam (Ngaire Honey) Eckert of Nashville, TN; her niece Amber (Christian) Klosowski of Sumter, SC; her nephew Adam (Airi) Gillespie of New York City, NY; and her godmother Adriane Biondi of North Haven, CT; in addition to a very close and supportive group of friends.
