Amanda Kraskowski-Bates of Orlando/Windermere Florida went to be with the Lord on October 31, 2019. She was surrounded by family at Orlando Health Hospital when she was called to heaven.

A celebration of life in her honor will be Sunday, November 10 at 3:00 p.m. at DeGusipe Funeral Home, 1400 Matthew Paris, Blvd. Ocoee, FL 34761, Immediately preceding service will be a visitation at 2:00 p.m. All family and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation and
celebration of life.

Amanda was born March 26, 1975. She grew up in Orlando, FL graduating from Dr. Phillips High School in 1995 and thereafter attended Valencia Community College. As a young child through high school Amanda pursued her love for dance at Columbus Dance School where she participated in many competitions and inspired others to follow their dreams. She performed in
the Nutcracker production with the Orlando Ballet, she toured Canada and the US with Sesame Street Live and worked in the entertainment department with Universal Studios. Her colleagues, friends, and guests were in awe of her many talents, and she was always surrounding everyone with love and hope. Children flocked to her and there is no surprise that while Amanda's talents and relationships were many, nothing was more important to her than her role as a mother and a wife. She cherished her family and loved spending time with them. Amanda was a special wife, daughter, granddaughter, cousin, niece, and friend to many.

Amanda is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents; Walter B. Kraskowski and Christine (Dolly) Kraskowski, maternal grandmother; Florence Davis and uncle; Steven E. Davis.

She is survived by her husband; Patrick Socie, her son; Harrison Michael Bates, her daughter; Amelia Priscilla Bates, her parents; Walter M. Kraskowski and Susan Davis Kraskowski, grandparents; Perry Edward Davis (Mary Adele), uncle; George Randall Davis (Peggy O'Reilly), aunt; Diane Davis (husband Steven E. Davis), aunt; Annette Davis, cousins; Jenna Davis, Sean Davis (also her godson), Steven E. Davis, II, and Don Whipple; second cousin Steven E. Davis, III along with many other relatives and close friends.

In addition to her love for dance, Amanda cherished every moment with loved ones. While life was often difficult and Amanda struggled with health issues, she was always a shining star who lit up a room and who served others to make a difference in their lives. She was active with the parent's group at her children's school and she served as President for her son's preschool and was active with fund raising and other activities that inspired children's learning.

She was also passionate about helping others less fortunate and she was involved in charitable fundraising for events such as Kenya Relief Fund and Habitat for Humanity.

In lieu of flowers, Amanda would be proud to know that her life inspired others to help those less fortunate and we kindly ask that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Amanda's
memory.

The family wishes to acknowledge and thank everyone who has surrounded Amanda with love throughout her short life. We miss her deeply.
