Alicia Ann Ama Pagan of Detroit, Michigan, was born on June 18, 1986, to Eugene Thomas and Martha Waller. Our beloved LiLi, as she was affectionately called, departed this life unexpectedly on Sunday, December 6, 2020, while in the hospital with family by her side.

Alicia accepted Christ at an early age under her grandfather's pastorate (the late Robert McKelton). Later, she joined the youth choir at Third New Hope Baptist Church under the pastorate of Dr. E. L. Branch.

Alicia graduated from Martin Luther King High School in Detroit, Michigan, and attended Oakland University with a major in Sociology, which fit her personality perfectly because she was a social butterfly. Everyone who came in contact with her immediately loved her because she made them feel important and special. She was beautiful inside and out.

Alicia was an artist. She enjoyed drawing, creating paintings, and designing clothes. In fact, most of her paintings are hanging up in her home today. She was also a foodie. She shared several pictures of her dishes on Facebook that made our mouths water.

She was adventurous and not afraid to take chances. She left Detroit to pursue one of her dreams to work at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. She fulfilled that dream while pursuing a career as a Guest Services Agent for Hilton.

God blessed Alicia to marry the love of her life, Emmanuel Pagan, on November 5, 2015. The Lord blessed and gave them a daughter, Audrey, who was recently born on November 2, 2020.

We will miss and cherish Alicia's warm and infectious smile, her jovial spirit, and her kind, giving and loving personality. Because of Alicia, we will remember to live life to the fullest and always be ready for a selfie.

Alicia leaves to mourn her death, her loving husband, Emmanuel Pagan; newborn daughter, Audrey; mother, Martha Waller (Gregory); father; brother, Sherman Jones (Sampaguita); a host of aunts, uncles, nieces Addison and Emmerson; cousins, a godsister, Layana Tucker, and friends.

My Sweet Daughter (Punkin),
Mommy will always hold dear the conversations, the likeness, and the laughter we shared. You are my true BFF (Best Friend Forever) or as you have said, "Soulmate"!
I am so proud and blessed that God gave me you.
