Alice Jean Wallin of Altamonte Springs, Florida (formerly of Buffalo, MN) passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018 with her family at her side.

Alice J. Wallin was born on March 28th, 1950 in Slayton, MN to Robert and Lola (Zedicher) Herrmann. Alice grew up in Avoca, MN with her 7 brothers and 5 sisters. She was always energized by time spent with her family, friends and especially her granddaughter. Her home always had an open door where she always had a big hug, warm heart and a delicious meal for everyone. She was an amazingly strong and caring Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Daughter.

Family left to cherish her memory are: sons, Jason Davidson, Jamie (Cari) Davidson; granddaughter, Charley; brothers, Dan (Marianne) Herrmann, Tom (Maryjane) Herrmann, Sam (Joan) Herrmann, Ed (Lynn) Herrmann and Mike (Beth) Hermann; sisters, Sarah (David) Couenhoven, Colleen (Brian) Buchanan, Leah (Doug) Brinks, Sharon (Jeff) Newburn, and Paula (Mike) Christophel; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Herrmann and Ruth Herrmann; also many foster children and other relatives and friends.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Pat Herrmann and Steve Herrmann.

We can't possibly give enough thanks to the wonderful people at Grand Villa of Altamonte Springs and Vitas Hospice for all of their help and support, for Alice and for her family.

A memorial service will be held in Minnesota at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Vitas at www.vitas.com or a local hospice organization.
