Alice M. Lamagno, 91, of Rotonda West, Florida passed away on September 29, 2024, in Orlando, Florida. She was born on August 16, 1933, to the late John and Bertha (Cox) Cherry in Granville, Illinois. She married Joseph Lamagno in 1951 and lived in Streator, Illinois until their retirement. They were together until his passing in 2020. They had so many years together to enjoy traveling, gardening and beach running. She had and amazing smile and outlook on life and was a gracious caring woman to anyone and everyone. Alice will be missed by so many. As her bright light stopped, she still sent out a beacon of light to love and express joy to all. We will miss her soft smile, gentle ways and courage. Alice was preceded in death by her husband Joseph, son Joseph Jr. and daughter Debbie. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Vernice Taylor and Erma Costello and her brothers John Cherry and Lester Wallin. Alice is
honored by several nieces and nephews and her best friend who held her hand at the end.
