Obituary

Alice Priscilla Hamilton went home to be with Jesus the evening of February 10, 2021. Born on August 18, 1935 in Burns City, Indiana, she lived a life filled with laughter, love, and faith. She married the love of her life, Bud, 65 years ago in July of 1955. She was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church, and loved her Church family dearly.

Priscilla loved to be with her family and celebrated every event imaginable: birthdays, holidays, and anniversaries were all to be enjoyed with a meal and a gathering. She made everyone feel welcome, and could make a home cooked meal that brought everyone together. Whether it was a slice of peanut butter pie, angel food cake, peanut butter fudge, or her famous rice crispy cookies, she spoiled us with her love. When you came into her home, you were home.

She is survived by her husband, Claude "Bud" Hamilton, her sister, Peggy Jennings and her husband Herb Kosterlitz, her son, James Hamilton, her daughter, Sue Hutchinson and her husband Scott, her grandchildren, Matthew Hamilton and his wife Elizabeth, Steven Hutchinson, Sarah Hutchinson, Peter Hamilton and his wife Tessa, Emily Hutchinson, and her great grandchildren, Jordan, Landon, Isaac, and Garrett. Although knowing she is gone is painful, we all know that Priscilla loved us and will always love us "better than the best, and more than the most."

Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, February 17th at 10 am St. Luke's United Methodist Church 4444-5th Ave. No., St. Petersburg, Fl. 33713 where she and her husband are long time members. Entombment will follow the memorial service at Memorial Park Cemetery at 11:30 am
