In Loving Memory...Alex Janoff, 90 years of age, passed on Monday October 10th at Florida Hospital East Orlando.

Alex was born in Chicago, IL on June 1,st 1926 to Thomas Janoff and Maria(nee Chus)
He was the middle child of three and was preceded in death by his sister Steva Arndt.

Alex was happily married on Feb 4th 1951 to his one and only beloved, the late Josie (Incardona) and had two daughters. They had almost 50 wonderful years together surrounded by friends and family. They loved to entertain, travel, and were Florida "snowbirds", they had a 2nd home at the Plantation In Leesburg.
He made Chuluota, FL his permanent residence in 2004 and enjoyed his new home where he loved his garden and resided there until his death. He was strong and maintained his independence with the help of family. He was very happy to be a Florida resident but remained a life long fan of the Chicago Cubs, and all the other Chicago sports teams. All we can say now is GO CUBS!

He proudly served in the US Army, was a Korean War veteran and was honorably discharged as a corporal in December 1952.

He worked in the construction industry and retired from the Village of Norridge as a municipal employee. Norridge and Harwood Heights, IL were his places of residence and his job with the village was his favorite.

He lived a full life and was well loved, he leaves to cherish his memory his daughters Jacqueline Miller and Jill Rosinski, son in law James A Rosinski, grandson Alex R Miller, great grandson Alexander Lane Miller, a host of nieces, nephews, his dear brother in law John Koziol and many friends.

A Memorial service is to be held at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, 5525 US-1, Mims, FL 32754, on November 18, 2016 at 1:30 PM. All are welcome.
