Ms. Alberta Veronica Stowe, 90, of Deltona, Florida passed away this last Friday, October 11, 2019. Ms. Alberta was born Tuesday, April 2, 1929 in Virginia, United States.

In the years Alberta lived she gave so much. Alberta was a beloved wife of Herbert H. Stowe for 58 years before his passing in 2009. She is survived by her son, Leonardo Stowe. She was also a caring and giving mother to her two children. She adored her two beautiful granddaughters with all of her heart. She worked 28 years to care for those in need with the Peace Corps, as a Social Worker for the State Department, and she even dedicated time to Foreign Services. Alberta also worked at Florida Hospital as an In Home Nurse for 20 years.

Even though she was raised Baptist she spent her time Worshiping at All Souls Catholic Church of Sanford; going to Mass as often as she could. And before her illness took over her, she got back to her roots as a Baptist. She would make time to attend morning services every Sunday and bible study every Wednesday at St. John Missionary Baptist Church of Sanford. Alberta, with her kind heart and love for all, will be surely missed.
